DAY ONE: muir woods and marin county

Begin with a pickup at your hotel in San Francisco. Head north over the Golden Gate Bridge for a morning stroll beneath the world's tallest trees at Muir Woods, then head to the charming seaside town of Point Reyes Station. Enjoy a pastry from the incredible Bovine Bakery while you wander through town. The next stop will be to sample French-­inspired cheeses at Marin French Cheese Company, ­­the oldest continuously operating cheese company in the United States! Follow your cheese tasting with a visit to McEvoy Ranch, where you can try estate-­grown olive oils and wines. Arrive at your hotel in the charming town of Sonoma and spend your evening exploring the tasting rooms on the plaza, and enjoy dinner at your leisure.

DAY TWO: napa valley tour

We'll set the celebratory tone of the day with a visit to Domaine Carneros, where you can learn about the methode champenoise and enjoy a morning champagne toast. Continuing into Napa Valley, visit the town of Yountville where you can delight in a pastry from the Bouchon Bakery and stroll the gardens of the famed French Laundry. In St Helena, browse galleries and tasting rooms to your heart's content. Finish the day with a trip to the Oxbow Market in Napa, where local purveyors of wine, cheese, chocolate, oils, coffee and ice cream will tempt your palate. Return to Sonoma for the night.

DAY THREE: sonoma to sausalito

Start your day with an optional morning walk to a viewpoint overlooking Sonoma Valley, or choose to spend time relaxing at the hotel or in town. On your way out of town, visit Cornerstone Sonoma, where a variety of artist display their work alongside tasting rooms and shops. Make your way south to enjoy lunch and an afternoon in the waterfront town of Sausalito. Finish your trip with a scenic ferry ride across the bay and back to San Francisco!
